INGREDIENTS FOR 16 ti pouris:
- 320 g of flour
- 80 g of semolina
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 300 g of natural yoghurt
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- Oil for frying
In a bowl, mix the flour, semolina, baking powder, sugar and salt. Add the yoghurt and knead to a smooth dough. Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel and let it rest for 4 hours.
After that, knead the dough again and divide it into 16 balls.
Flatten each ball with a rolling pin. Heat the frying oil and fry the pancakes until brown.
When the ti pouri starts to swell turn on the other side so that both sides are cooked. Remove them from the oil, drain them on tissues and serve the ti pouri hot.
