Ingredients for 4 people:
- 250g basmati rice
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric
- 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds
- the juice of one lemon
- 20g butter or ghee
- 1 yogurt
- salt
Preparation:
Cook plain rice. When the rice is cooked heat the butter in a large skillet. Sauté turmeric and mustard seeds. Attention all should not burn. When the mustard seeds begin to wag, is that it is good.
Add the rice and mix well. Drizzle with lemon juice and a good pinch of salt. Add yogurt and mix well until you get a whole yellow rice, colored uniformly. It’s ready.
