Ingedients:
- 1 kg of octopus
- 1 large onion or 2 medium onions
- juice of 2 lemons
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- salt and pepper
Preparation:
Boil the octopus in a large pot of salted water for 30 minutes at least. Once cooked, discard the water and cut the octopus into pieces and reserve.
Peel and finely slice the onions. Cut the tomatoes into medium pieces. In a large bowl mix together the oil, lemon juice and salt and pepper.
Add to the sauce the octopus, onion and tomatoes and mix well. It’s ready to serve warm or cold with bread.
