- 450 g of round bilimbi
- 100 ml water
- 500 g brown cane sugar
Wash and remove the bilimbis stems. In a large pot over medium heat let the bilimbis cook for 10 minutes with water. Add the brown sugar, mix and leave to stew on low heat for 1h15 minutes. Stiring occasionally.
Once it’s ready you can keep them in a sterilized pot or in a bowl if you want to eat them fast. Let cool before eating with salt and chilli powder.
