- 250gr large chillies
- 350gr of minced meat
- Half onion, chopped
- One clove of minced garlic
- One tablespoon of ginger powder
- 4 tablespoons of soy sauce
- Salt and pepper
- 125gr flour
- One egg
- Some water
- Oil for frying
In a pan, roast the chopped meat with the onions, garlic and ginger. Then add the soy sauce, salt and pepper to taste. Let it cook for 15 minutes and set aside.
Cut the chillies in half, remove the seeds and carefully rinse the inside, leaving the tail and set them aside.
In a bowl prepare the dough by mixing flour, egg, salt and add water to make a smooth paste.
Fill the chillies with the meat. Holding them by the tail to dip them in the batter and fry in hot oil until brown.
After that, let the stuffed chillies drain the oil on absorbent paper and serve when they are still hot.
Option : Stuffed red peppers
Large chillies are normally less strong than the small one but if it’s still too hot for you, you can do the exact same recipe with small red peppers, it’s very good.
