ingredients:
- Three large potatoes
- One sprig of curry leaf
- One chopped medium onion
- Three dry red chilli
- One or two pinch of salt
Preparation:
Cook the potato in water for 20 to 30 minutes : once the blade of a knife enters easily it is well cooked.
Peel and coarsely mash the potatoes with the back of a fork and set them aside.
Heat a pan with 2 tablespoons of oil. When the oil is hot, fry quickly the dry chilli, the curry leaves and chopped onions.
Add the potatoes and stir until the spices are well mixed with the potatoes then add the salt, stirring constantly.
Let it cook for 5 minutes and your Satini Pomme de Terre is ready. This side dish can be served with lentils, rice and salted fish but you can serve it with beef, chicken and as a filling for faratas.
