- 850 g of beef, cut into strips
- 2 large onions chopped
- 3 tablespoons of dark soy sauce
- 4 tablespoons of sesame oil
- 2 chopped garlic cloves
- 3 tablespoons of honey
- zest of one lemon
- 6 tablespoons of flour
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 3 tablespoons of sesame seed
- salt and pepper
Make a marinade with the soy sauce, 3 tablespoons of sesame oil, honey, sugar, lemon zest, chopped garlic, half a cup of water and pepper and add the beef, mix well and leave in the fridge overnight.
Once the pause is finished remove the beef from the marinade and reserve the marinade. Heat a large saucepan or deep fryer for frying. In a bag put the flour with a little salt and pepper. Place the beef strips in the bag and shake well so that all the pieces are covered with flour. Fry per portions and separate them so they do not stick too much between them.
In another pan heat a tablespoon of sesame oil and fry the minced onion without overcooking. Add the marinade, a tablespoon of honey, a tablespoon dark soy sauce and let reduce for 2-3 minutes and stop cooking. Adjust seasoning if necessary. Off the heat add the pieces of fried beef in the sauce, sprinkle with sesame seed and mix. Serve with Thai rice.
