- 4 eggs
- 1/2 liter of milk
- 200 g sweetened condensed milk (or more if you like sweeter)
- 50 g grated coconut
- caramel sauce
Preheat oven to 180 °. Pour the caramel sauce in the bottom of a mold.
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Reserve the egg whites for use later. Beat the egg yolks with the sweetened condensed milk then add the milk and mix well. Add the coconut.
Beat the egg whites until stiff. Add the white mixture gently with milk / egg yolk. Pour into the mold and bake in a water bath for 30 minutes in the oven.
Prick with a knife to test if it is cooked if so let cool before removing from pan if not, cook for another 15 minutes.
Once the Coconut Flan is removed from the mold put it in the fridge and serve chilled
